Now the basic “roles” of a Moderator: 1. Check the board everyday if possible 2. Delete any nasty posts (let me know about anything you think is bad beforehand please...) 3. Try to keep people on topic in a thread 4. Post on a regular basis 5. Recruit anyway you can, new members are always wanted 6. It helps if you know something, or a lot, about the board you’re moderating 7. If you wish to "clean up" the board you're moderating, ie. delete/edit posts, please double check with me before doing so 8. If you're new to Proboards, be aware of the "Modify Post" option that will appear in the board you're Moderating... Try not to click on it unless I give permission... And just in general, be nice to other members. Don’t talk down to them, or make them feel stupid. Just because you’re a “Mod”, doesn’t mean you’re the “boss” of the board.
